Download the necessary software according to our Download area.

Install Eclipse.

Unzip EMF from %ECLIPSE_HOME%, the EMF zip file contains two directories, a plugins directory and a features directory.

Checked with the EMF 1.1.0 Build 20030620 1105VL.

Re-start Eclipse and verify that everything is installed.

To do so, go to Help->About Eclipse Platform->Plug-in Details.

Check the following entries.

Stop Eclipse and delete the above directories.

Download the necessary software according to our Download area.

Install Eclipse.

Download the necessary software according to our Download area.

Install Eclipse.

In this howto we assume that you have successfully installed java.

There are two ways to install our jar file.

If the jar.exe is associated with the .jar extension inside your operating system, a double click on our jar file is enough to launch the installation procedure.

If not, open a shell under your operating system, go into the directory where you downloaded EclipseUML then type the following :

java -jar eclipseuml-installer_X.Y.Z.YYYYMMDD.jar

Re-start Eclipse and verify that everything is installed.

To do so, go to Help->About Eclipse Platform->Plug-in Details.

Check EMF, GEF and EclipseUML entries according to our zip installation procedure.

Below your %ECLIPSE_HOME% directory you should see an Uninstaller directory.

We assume that you have successfully installed EclipseUML below your %ECLIPSE_HOME% installation.

In this howto we assume that you have successfully installed java.

There are two ways to uninstall EclipseUML.

Check EMF, GEF and EclipseUML entries.
